When Skateboard Cafe started it was never set out to be a ‘skateboard company’. It emerged from a skate video of the same name that showcased the skate scene in Bristol, England around 2008.
From there they made a few t-shirts and a small run of decks sold exclusively in a few independent stores.
In 2012 Skabeboard Cafe was officially formed and founder Rick Smith began to build a suitable team consisting of Korahn Gayle, Josh Arnott, Shaun Currie, Mike Arnold, Harry Ogilvie and Savannah Stacey Keenan.
